Importance of Volunteering

On December 19, 2009 we volunteered at the Penelope House in Mobile, Alabama. For a lot of us, this was a first time volunteer event where we were able to give back to the community. We enjoyed interacting with families and providing a positive fun way of doing things. We helped each family create "Sweet Dream Pillows" in which they were encouraged to write happy memories or thoughts for when they go to sleep. All of the families really loved the hands on interaction.

We look forward to this continued volunteer activity that we can share with the Penelope House. We are learning more and more to be appreciative of what we have and not be envious of others.

A little about CWT

CWT, also known as, Cousins Working Together, is owned by the Thrash Family. We are dedicated to working together and staying in touch. Family is such an important aspect of each of our lives, that we take the time to keep in touch with one another.

We have many events that we participate in. In fact, this year will be our first year to volunteer and give back to other families.
